I have started to dig up my Potatoes and I am pretty happy with the result. Out of 3 square meters I managed to get 18kg of Potatoes. I worked out if I planted around 180 square meters I would get 1 tonne of spuds!

Still have about 7-9 square meters of potatoes to dig up yet.

Good onion harvest this year but a lot had thick necks or had gone to seed leaving a hard core inside the onions. The ones I planted later where better. I think I probably harvested 70 or so onions with some red onions still to come.

Looking for some Organic Control

Quote from Jackie French "Natural Control of Garden Pests"
Preadtors birds,assassin bugs,soldier beetles, mantids

User diatomaceous earth : Derris dust or pyrethrum.

Not sure about any of those like to keep the other insects around which there are many. Might need to just mechanically clear them, though they breed pretty fast.
